WHO ARE WE?

Our story

AutoGermany was founded in April 2018 in Edmonton, Alberta, by two friends who share a common passion for German vehicles, and have high levels of technical knowledge and experience to expertly maintain and repair them. Learn about Alex & Oleg below.

Our mission is to develop relationships with German car enthusiasts across Edmonton and provide them with superior service. The automotive team at AutoGermany has the most advanced diagnostic skills and equipment to properly handle any German vehicle repair or service. We pride ourselves on helping our customers keep their vehicles on the road as long as possible in safe and reliable conditions.

ALEX

Co-Founder

Alex developed his love for vehicles as a young child from both his father and grandfather who were the go-to ‘car guys’ in their area. Alex has gained his 25 years of experience in the auto industry in both Europe and Canada as a former BMW technician and BMW tech support specialist. In his spare time, you can find Alex traveling, or hiking in the mountains with family and friends.

Oleg

Co-Founder

Oleg has 15 years’ experience as a German car mechanic, formerly working for one of the largest German indy shops in Edmonton as a technician. When he isn’t busy working on German vehicles, you can find Oleg skiing or skydiving – two of his favorite activities.

 

 

Meet Our Team

ADRIAN

Service Advisor

Adrian has always been a German vehicle enthusiast, owning a variety of them. He can handle anything from a simple oil change to an air suspension retrofit, but he shines the most helping you to have an amazing experience at Autogermany. Most likely, he would be the first person you meet when you call or come to us. Adrian worked at one of the oldest indy shops in Calgary and we are extremely happy to have him as a part of our team.

Chan

Technician

Chan was born in Cambodia, raised in the USA and now happily lives in Edmonton with his wife and little daughter. He graduated from the Lincoln Tech Institute and worked for Mercedes Benz USA until he moved to Canada. Chan is our go-to guy for any Mercedes Benz-related problems. In his free time, he is an avid volleyball player and traveller.

Anatoliy

Technician

Anatoliy has been turning wrenches and solving tricky car problems for over 15 years—and he still loves it. A big fan of BMWs, he’s the guy who gets excited about a smooth-running engine and a perfect diagnostic. If it’s got German engineering, he’s all in.

Outside the shop, Anatoliy trades tools for trail shoes. He loves hiking and spending time with his kids, usually chasing them up a mountain or trying to keep up on a bike. Either way, he’s always moving.

Andy

Shop Assistant

Andy is a car enthusiast and the shop’s go-to Handy Andy!
He loves turning wrenches, fixing things up, and making sure the job gets done right. He helps keep the building in shape and steps in whenever the team needs an extra hand.

Whether it’s organizing tools, solving problems, or just bringing good energy to the shop, Andy’s all about pitching in and keeping things running smoothly.
